·3 weeks agoIt is illegal to fit a "DeCat pipe" to any road-going vehicle. Many of your recent sold items were for such things; i.e. an aftermarket exhaust system that entirely omits the factory-installed (and legally required) catalytic converter.
eBay's decision was correct; their applicable policy states:
"Listings for products that violate applicable law by bypassing, defeating or rendering inoperative emission-control systems aren’t allowed, either on their own or when combined with other hardware or software."
So whilst it is not illegal to sell a DeCat pipe it is against eBay's "emissions control defeat devices policy" to list one.
I'd strongly advise you don't try listing any similar items. When eBay hands out a "permanent selling restriction" they're rarely joking about the "permanent" part.
