Delivery
A buyer has bought an item from me and duly paid postage. He doesn’t live far from me , so I’ve offered to deliver it for him.
My question is how do I mark the item as delivered afterwards? The postage will cover my petrol costs.
Should I take a pic of him holding it on his door step anyway?

·1 month agoYou can't in short. If it was sold with delivery - you are supposed to use a postage method to send it and upload the tracking to ebay.
There is also a small risk if you hand deliver it - first, your payment will be held for at least 14 days. Also, the buyer could open a claim of item not received and would win. ebay wouldn't accept a photo as evidence.
