With Simple Delivery - if you used the Simple Delivery label the buyer is supposed to open an Item Not Received Case with ebay - and ebay step in and resolve. They normally refund and you keep the funds. This is the benefit of Simple Delivery.
If you have refunded the customer already - then you are at a dead end. You will not get this money back.
