Confusion over Refunds
I sold mobile phone on eBay but item was returned to me . I am now being asked to refund Buyer but there is no sign in my bank account of me receiving this money from the sale. Can't find any guidance through eBay.

·1 month agoAs a Private Seller funds don't go into your bank account automatically. They go into your eBay balance and then you need to withdraw them manually.
As a new seller you receive payment 2 days after confirmed delivery or automatically14 days after date of sale if Simple Drlivery or tracked postage is used. If a return request is opened, for a reason other than damaged in transit, then eBay automatically places the funds on hold to cover any refunds.

·1 month agoAs a new seller the payment will probably be on hold by ebay for 30 days. You should have received email notification. Refunds are usually taken from the seller's payment source but you will keep the payment when it clears.
