Buyer sends me a message asking if they could buy two items for £100?
I reply yes happy to do a deal - offer me £50 on each and I will accept.
Then a few hours later get same message from a different account.
I reply saying very weird but you are second person to make me this offer in a few hours.
(Items have been listed for 2 months).
They then reply saying it’s them using two eBay accounts 🤷♂️
Goes silent for 4 hours and they make offer of £50 on one item and I accept.
Send a message saying you now need to make an offer if £50 on item two.
Silence for 4 hours …then a message saying they have changed mind and sell it to other person offering £100 …..errrr
I reply ‘you said that was you???’ …aka using two accounts.
Anyway refunded them money they paid for item one and will block both their users I think to save my time and sanity.
I thought you were not allowed more than 1 account on eBay?

·1 week agoYou are allowed to have many accounts, they cannot be linked, they need a separate username and email for each.
Maybe they had limits on buying, they could be new members, so opened 2 accounts to buy your items one on each account.
They paid for one item, personally I would have posted that one., as you had been paid.
As said, they probably wanted the same deal on their other account. New accounts have limits imposed, me thinks this was a genuine buyer wishing to buy those 2 items.

More accounts are allowed providing that there is no interaction between them.
