Wrongly accused of counterfeiting
Summary: fearcinema expresses frustration over a ten-day suspension for allegedly selling counterfeit 4K Blu-rays, arguing that it's impractical to copy them due to high data capacity. roger_roger_over_and_nowt clarifies that the accusation is about selling copies, not necessarily making them. cobwebcottage suggests that the seller's bio might give the impression of operating a business, recommending a switch to a business account. jonatjonatjonat adds that issues may arise with imported Blu-rays if publishers report them, due to parallel import restrictions.
I have received a ten day suspension and been accused of selling counterfeit goods for selling something that is impossible to counterfeit!!
I am talking about 4K Blu-rays which are impossible to copy due to the amount of data on each disc (approximately 100 GB or more). In fact, it would cost tens of thousands of pounds to purchase equipment able to copy 4K discs!
There are thousands of 4K discs for sale on eBay. It just doesn't make sense.
Maybe this is a mistake made by AI?

·1 month agoYou sold 3 duplicate brand new Star Treks, that will likely trigger something if you've multiples of the same item and are just selling off your own personal possessions, you wouldn't have 3 copies.

·1 month agoYou are selling a number of import Blu-Rays/DVDs etc.
It is possible they are being reported on vero if the publisher does not want parallel imports.

'Quality releases from across the world. Looking for something? Then just send us a message and we will do our best to find it.'
That doesn't sound like a private seller who is getting rid of their own stuff and maybe Ebay think that you are copying them on demand.
Either way, you are trading on the wrong account and need to change to a business account.
