What is happening to all the militaria collectors
I have been selling military collectables for some years with varying success but this year my sales have fallen off the cliff are other sellers
having a similar issue. Is it people are falling out with e bay I am going to try and restructure what I am selling to see if it improves if not try other sites, any recommendations?

·1 month agoin the last years more and more fakes have popped up on ebay . while fakes pop up everywhere at least in person you can judge yourself before going into any hassle in case you get send a fake i think its putting many off from buying . i also have a friend who sells cap badges and insignia and has been put off selling due to people trying to buy originals and sending back copies . personally i have taken off the medals i was trying to sell due to the constant whinging from ebay about items that are not allowed .

·1 month agoI sold a pair of shoulder titles here yesterday. It isn’t my main area, I just get these things now and again with other lots. From what I can see, it can be a bit slow here it can take a while for the right buyer. International visibility here is a big plus. I sold a lot more on V, lots of interest but prices were lower on average.

·1 month agoHi @bergjager as you suggest restructuring your items, could i suggest perhaps
Photographs East india 50s 60s black white sepia family life job lot bundle
Instead of "A Collection of Photographs from a family from the'50s and 60s Middle East India"
Avoid the temptation to use full sentences. Key words are the key to views.
I don't know your market, but sometimes individual photographs can sell better, if they have a particular village or monument etc in them. Even those showing fashions of the region in that era.
Also, it is hard to judge sales based on 2 items. You need lots more to drive views to your shop and you need to keep refreshing them with Sell similar, not just let them roll over each month.
Good luck

·1 month ago' Just to clarify' , if you do use other channels to sell, do not try and sell the same items on both venues at the same time.
eBay expect items sold on their site not to be sold elsewhere at the same time , to avoid one item being sold to two buyers, and potentially disappointing an eBay customer.

·1 month agoI'd recommend to any business that you should not rely on selling on one channel.
Unfortunately, its hard to recommend other sites on ebays forums as they tend to hide the posts. But a google will reveal other avenues.

·1 month agoWe had this discussion at the local business forum here in the town last year, had an evening with a nice bank manager from an international bank with UK branches, he said it would be madness to rely completely on this site, if anyone did there would be very little chance of the bank he worked for offering services.
