They are still getting away with selling gollies

The policing on ebay is appalling. Unless members report members for selling gollies, they just carry on regardless - as they are doing at this precise moment.
I have lost count how many times I've complained to Customer Support to take the burden off us (month after month I reported sellers until I ran out of stamina!).
I suggested a member of their staff could be assigned at the start of each shift to scan for the offending posts - yet I never got a reply.

P.S. To be clear, I have no problem with the sale of gollies. It's just that my golly posts were constantly removed. And if I can't sell mine, then why should anyone else be able to??

·2 weeks agoI would say get a hobby but looks like you have found one, If you seriously think a member of their staff could be assigned at the start of each shift to scan for the offending posts - You clearly have no idea how ridiculous this is - Maybe channel your energy into something more productive.

·2 weeks agoI got banned from a Facebk group for suggesting someone to take their golly joke and picture down. Facebk took it down immediately after reporting. I loved the golly back in the day, but those days are gone and if they are offensive to one person, I accept they are offensive. Ebay should not find it hard to police these listings, as with so much, they dont try very hard and are very inconsistent.

I find a lot of things in life offensive but i do not demand that they are taken down, removed etc. Every person has their own ideas on what they class as offensive, life would be impossible if all were 'banned'. Personally i had a golly when i was a child and loved it much more than any other toy (except my teddy bear of course). Times change and i accept that but i do think that some take it too far.
