A good move for private sellers I think. On the platform that leans into it heavily it leads to a lot of bundle sales. You will have to exclude any listings that you don’t want to be part of the promotion.

·1 week agoIf you've enabled "Make Offer" and you agree to give someone a 15% discount, and they then bundle a few items which gives them another 20% off, that's an awful lot of discount.

·1 week agoThe terms state that Bundle Discounts cannot be combined with any other discounts provided by the seller so I assume that would also include Best Offers.

·2 weeks agoAre any private sellers having issues using it? I got the notification indicating I’m able to use it, but when I do the moment I set my percentages and click Save, I get a pop up saying “Something went wrong please try again later” I’ve tried adjusting the percentages and waited 48 hours to try again but still get the same pop up? It seems to only appear on the app version of my account, I can’t find it on desktop version.

It probably would make sense that bundled items always go SD as buyers will still have numerous postage to pay.
Or go back to postage free and put the price back on the listings.
Seller can't select SD after an item gas sold I don't think.
Also I wonder if I make an offer to a buyer whether they can bundle that offer and get another offer ....

I might have a look at it tomorrow, I’m facing a £240 refund for a damaged item today so eBay will be going to the back of my mind now for the remainder of it 😆

The discount promotion came through the app. I think it will work better for sellers who specialise in an area such as records, books etc. so we shall wait and see.
