SIMPLE DELIVERY ONLY OPTION

·3 weeks agoWhy don't ebay put up an explanation to all users that there is a problem with their delivery options soi we know what is going on. Typical ebay uselessness.

I logged into onbuy yesterday and immediately - popup indicating that disposable bbqs were band - you don't need to do anything - they are identifying the listings and will remove them and don't list any new ones.
Clearly - its the oil tanker issue. ebay is too big and too cumbersome to be able to do things like this.

·3 weeks agoI’m extremely sorry for the inconvenience this has caused to you. This is a confirmed technical issue on eBay and we have coordinated with our technical team and they have informed us that they are currently resolving this in high priority.
I can confirm that it’s impacted a few other members as well, so I'm notifying our technical team for review and I would request you to please try once after 24 hours to see if it’s been resolved.
I contacted ebay and they have said it is a known fault at the min

·3 weeks agoI sell low value items and have had the same problem over the last few days. I've reported the issue of being unable to apply Custom Postage to my listings to eBay customer services and have been told there is a technical issue which is being looked into. Can I suggest anyone else having this problem contact customer services to report it, too. Hoping it will get fixed soon!

·3 weeks agoWhen I spoke to a human last week about it, I was just told, that the system has changed to simple delivery for private sellers. When I asked how does it make any sense when I am listing an item to sell for £4.99 with my chosen postage of £1.99 for a large letter, the customer is being asked to pay £2.70 (which they won't) - she told me to put my prices up to allow for the extra postage OR don't use the simple delivery - I would get a refund in 14 days. I complained - but I was just told it is what it is and its their new policy.

·3 weeks ago@nifal27 You must put a price in first and then select large letter under Simple delivery to get the box for custom delivery box. If it still doesn't come up try a similar category , usually ending with "other"

·3 weeks agoI am having the same problem selling stamps at less than £20 but will not allow me to choose another option which the help page says I should be able to do - Also live help unavailable and the artificial stupid does not know when it will be available - it keeps taking me to articles that have nothing to do with my problem.....Does anyone know when live help is available?

·3 weeks agoHi @gillybrod You seem to use £3.75 Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For. Although not signed for, SD would give you almost more protection than what you are paying for, or asking the buyer to pay. I tried sell similar on one of your listings and i get the custom option. You must put a price in first and then select large letter under Simple delivery to get the box for custom

·3 weeks agoIt's not a glitch. eBay require Private sellers to use Simple Delivery. There are some exceptions light items under 100g and under £20 and oversize items can use custom postage.
Business sellers are exempt from SD.
