Simple Delivery - Northern Ireland CN22 form required to be filled in? or does eBay fill in the form online digitally themselves?
When using Simple delivery, when I print out the label, there is no CN22 form as part of the print out, I do know that the CN22 can be filled in digitally etc, but as part of the eBay Simple Delivery postage, does eBay fill in the form digitally, or do I need to either add an hand written CN22 or do it digitally myself.
Would this apply to other non mainland U.K addresses also?

·3 weeks agoFrom what I am seeing CN22 is no longer used anywhere its a barcoded CN23 now.

·3 weeks agoA customs declaration is not required when sending to consumers (private individuals) in Northern Ireland but would be required if sending to a business.
A customs declaration would be required if sending to the Channel Islands.

I posted something to the Channel Islands yesterday (not simple delivery) and a CN23 was needed. That’s the only non-mainland example I know of… You don’t need to do a form for Isle of Man either.

·3 weeks ago · EditedThe rule of thumb is if the item is being sent via a post office no customs form is required, however you will be asked for details for submission as part of the Windsor Framework. No additional label is attached to the package.
With Couriers (we use UPS a fair bit) its slightly different in that you will have to affectively fill paperwork, which is then attached, so you have the waybill and effectively customs paperwork - in this instance its formality stuff. This will be similar with other couriers.
Other UK places you will have to fill in CN22 for though will be the Channel Islands eg Jersey and Guernsey.
Outside the UK then yes always customs paperwork needs to be attached. (simple delivery not applicable in these instances though)

OP3 weeks agoYou can send to Northern Ireland as it is part of the UK, but I believe you still need to fill in a CN22 form, I could be wrong, but asking due to been confused about Northern Ireland as it is not mainland UK
