If you're talking about large and heavy car parts (engines, gearboxes, doors etc.) then your only real choice is a pallet carrier. Most regular couriers - including those with large item services - specifically prohibit car parts from being sent on their standard services.
If you're sending a few pallets a week it's worth opening an account with a local haulier who operates under one or more of APN's member networks. If you're only sending the occasional pallet - i.e. not enough to open a direct account - there are pallet brokerage services available online.
