Shall I just refund this guy because the postage is far too complicated
I've sold two large items, the buyer has asked if I can combine postage but I had to apologize and say no because the parcel would be far too big and offered to cancel. He's agreed to pay both postages. Buyer paid. Now I downloaded both labels but they're both the same they've got the same tracking number on??? The royal main male are not going to accept two parcels with the same tracking number on? Should I just refund the guy because this is just getting far too complicated for me?

·3 weeks agocombined postage should be automatic if buyer puts all in basket, with one label for all goods in one box. that is my experience, private seller simple delivery. Encourage up selling by stating combined and basket in advert. Large parcels, royal mail have a box constraint length of 61cm, evri 120cm. evri is weight not size.

OP3 weeks agoThe parcel postages are for 2 x 2kg. Not 1x 5-10kg. Why I don't know what to do but refund

·3 weeks ago · EditedI had a look at your sold’s and I don’t see anything recent. However it sounds as if these 2 sales have happened with eBay simple delivery. If that’s the case it’s fine honestly, I wouldn’t be daunted about this at all just send them together in 1 box with the single label eBay have provided.
If you don’t have the packaging for this you can buy a big box and some bubble wrap from the post office. You can even go to certain supermarkets or shops and ask if they have any empty boxes they would be throwing out anyway.
Whatever you do don’t try to send 2 parcels with the same label.
I would be really reluctant to cancel these sales from the information you gave. The combined shipping has helped you get the sales, this is eBay simple delivery working like it should do.

·3 weeks agoI agree @technthread If the items were purchased in one transaction and with SD then they should be sent together with the one label. I doubt that the buyer would even have been charged for the two labels if bought this way. You get an opportunity to upgrade the label for free usually, but I would send it and explain it to the buyer.

OP3 weeks agoI already got the buyer I can't combine because the parcel would be too large (larger than advertised and larger than po to collect)
