VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH EBAY. IVE HAD 569 ORDERS OVER LAST 3 MONTHS. 4 WERE DAMAGED IN POSTAGE . NOT MY FAULT. 1 THROUGH GLOBAL SHIPPING THAT WAS FINE AT LICHFIELD. BUT NOW IM BEING TOLD I WILL INCUR 4% PLUS VAT ON ALL FUTURE ORDERS WHICH EQUATES TO £400 A MONTH IN EXTRA CHARGES. HAS EBAY A MISSION TO REMOVE BUSINESSE FROM THEIR PORTFOLIO

·1 month agoIt isn't an extra 4% (+ VAT); it is 4 percentage points on top of the applicable final value fee. So, if you're listing in Collectibles which is 10.9% (exc. VAT) you will actually be charged 14.9% (exc. VAT) - a 36.7% increase in the final value fee.
How many INAD returns are being counted in your Service Metrics?

·1 month agoWhere will you sell your stock instead? How does ebay work out 4% VAT that isnt a normal figure. Are you looking at charges to sell into EU?

·1 month agoHi, @ragnar-rails-1 I see you are saying you will close your shop, I understand that reaction, but that seems drastic considering how well you were doing. Better to fight the penalties in my opinion. I don't know much from experience of this but i was interested enough to put your post into Copilot AI to see what help that gave. It is too much information to repost here, but if you do it, it is really helpful information and worth pursuing. Good luck.
