Sellers - is there a problem with multiple items in an order?
Summary: asleepingdragon expresses frustration with consistently receiving fewer items than ordered from various sellers. They mention difficulties in getting refunds or resolving these issues with eBay and PayPal. jonatjonatjonat advises opening an 'item not as described' case for such discrepancies, while *vyolla* and sml192 suggest using eBay’s return system for issues with missing items. asleepingdragon remains skeptical, citing a situation where a refund was refused despite following these steps.
Or am I just horrendously unlucky. Every time I pay for and buy more than one item on a listing - I only get one.
I bought two items of 4head headache stick on eBay. One item arrived via Amazon this afternoon. I bought six packs of stranded cotton, seller sent one.
I buy two packs of antihistamines. Seller sends one pack.
I just don't understand it, seriously can sellers not see the amount of items purchased now? I don't sell on here any more so I don't know the set up the seller receives.
I don't know how to get refunds when it's just my word against theirs and eBay/PayPal don't seem to care. I'm so disappointed with sellers these days.

·3 weeks agoIt's nigh on impossible for buyers to lose out on eBay. If there are items missing then you open an eBay return and select 'Missing parts or piece' and get a refund.

OP3 weeks agoYeah well that's not true. The stranded cotton seller still has all my money and refund refused.

·3 weeks ago · EditedSellers can't refuse an 'Item not as described' or 'Missing parts' return request so you must have selected the wrong reason.

·3 weeks agoWhat happened after you opened an eBay return by selecting 'Missing parts or pieces'? After 3 business days if your seller wasn't co-operative there would be an option for you to ask eBay to step in.

Open an item not as described case. That is all you can do.
Partial refunds (if that is what you are after are very much down to if the seller will do it). But given they didn't send enough in the first place - would you trust them anyway?

OP3 weeks ago · EditedI am not AFTER anything actually. Just the items I paid for.

·3 weeks agobit of an over reaction no? Perhaps go back to sleep.
I reiterate. All you can do is open an item not as described case to return the item for a refund if the seller won’t help you.
You stated you didn’t know how to get refunds. It’s been explained.
