Seeking Advice: Buyer left negative feedback, issue was resolved, but revision was ignored
Summary: m.fa-2214 is seeking advice on handling a negative feedback situation where the issue with the buyer was resolved, but the feedback remains unchanged. They are considering options like leaving a public reply. papso22 suggests responding politely, while hugothecockapoo shares a similar experience, noting that negative feedback sometimes persists despite resolution attempts.
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice regarding a negative feedback situation on my account.
About 4–5 months ago, a buyer left negative feedback. As soon as I noticed it on the same day, I contacted the buyer immediately and fully resolved their issue. I also sent a feedback revision request, but the buyer never responded or revised the feedback.
When I contacted eBay support at the time, I was informed that the feedback represents the buyer's personal opinion and cannot be removed.
Since the issue was completely resolved on my end, I am wondering if there is any chance or specific process to get this feedback removed by reaching out again, or if it is best to leave a public reply and move forward?
Any insights or recommendations from experienced sellers would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

·2 weeks agoDo not waste your time; there are a lot of looney-tune buyers out there. Have a look at my negative... ebay refused to remove even when the listing is fully described..
