I have received this unusual message from eBay even though I am not a Seller but a Buyer selling some of my goodies for some cash to cover the cost of my teeth implants, yeah lol
"Hi Jose,
We wanted to remind you that your seller performance has consistently fallen below our minimum standards in the United Kingdom. As a result, there’s now a risk that the selling limits will be lowered on your account, and in some cases, you may be permanently restricted from selling on eBay.
Here’s what you should do
Check your Seller Dashboard to see where you can improve your seller performance."
Where I am confused is that although I am categorised as a seller for the purpose of selling goods, I do not have a Seller Account; therefore, why am I pursued confusingly by eBay to the extent that my account will be restricted if I did not sell more goods that I do not have available, since those that I had were already sold on eBay.

That makes you a seller. Going on your responses to your negative and neutral feedback you appear to have some misunderstanding of eBay’s processes and systems.
You don’t appear to see that something is wrong, that it’s eBay’s fault you listed more than you had available and that all was fine to cancel something because eBay allow it.
To clarify. EBay allow you to cancel sale as yoU were out of stock. That does not make it ok.

·5 days agoeBay really hates it when sellers cancel orders for being out of stock. As per eBay's seller standards policy sellers are only allowed 2% of transactions to have defects within an evaluation period before the dreaded "below standard" rating applies.
The consequences of being rated below standard for an "extended period of time" are decreased visibility and selling restrictions where private sellers are concerned. As you will have no realistic way of diluting your defect rate due to those consequences your account will likely remain restricted and below standard until the defects fall off your account - this won't happen until 12 months from when they were received.

During the past 12 months you've received two neutrals and two negative feedback, that indicates a high ratio of unhappy buyers. Looks like there were 3 cancellations there for 'out of stock', which eBay (quite rightly) don't like as it undermines their selling platform.
All you can do is to keep an eye on your Seller Dashboard, I suspect that you may be restricted soon though, you haven't sold enough to absorb those defects. You'll still be able to use your eBay account for buying.
