Sellers to the US from the UK be aware when you enter royal mail tracking on your order details it is autimatically defaulting to USPS and as such it is not showing that your item has been dispatched or received by their new hub in Corby even though when you check your tracking with royal mail it has arrived. I have raised this issue with ebay as it willl affect defects on seller status into the US and also could lead to ebay refunding items from your payouts even though the item has been delivered to the hub, so SELLERS TO THE USA BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

There are many problems with ebay interpreting royal mails tracking at this time, I buy my postage direct from royal mail, when its collected and scanned I get an email to say royal mail have got BUT that does NOT count as dispatched, it only counts when it gets to LANGLEY HWDC Heathrow Airport, I keep getting defects for late dispatch, I have called ebay and they say the defects are because I have dispatched late, I have appealed them twice and lost both times.

·2 weeks agoThat's interesting as I frequently send Tracked to Germany & have never, so far, had a defect. RM Tracking shows "Item received Swindon MC" & Ebay pretty much mirrors this. Then RM shows LANGLEY but that never appears on Ebay.
I use a RM Online Business account linked to Click & Drop & Ebay & take my mailbags to the local Post Office.

·2 weeks agoThere seems to be a data level problem between royal mail and ebay, I have a hunch that as they know an item is going to the US and that item is shipped by royal mail the ebay system by default checks data used on www.usps.com and not the royal mail data as that would produce the same effect, there are many data streams from royal mail tracking, although not on ebay I ordered an item to be delivered by royal mail which it was, it label the supplier used was from P2G, after the item was delivered to me I got 1 email to say it had been sent, one to say it was out for delivery and one to say I had got it, all the email came in at the same time, caused by P2G using a different lot of data to what was showing on the royal mail website.
