Poster damaged in transit from GSP/IP
I had a poster accepted by the hub on September 4th. It arrived in the USA two days ago badly damaged.
The buyer wants a refund and fees are on hold but why am I responsible and not Global Shipping or International Shipping?
He has also been quite insulting.
How do I deal with this?

Hi @union_canal , thanks for your post.
If you confirm the item number for me, I can send your case for review, and the team would be able to action the case based on the evidence available to the case. Please note that this doesn't necessarily means that the case will be closed in your favor.
Thank you,
Marco

·2 weeks agoIf the buyer opens a return using "damaged in transit" as the reason ebay should issue the refund and you keep the payment. Item does not have to be sent back.

OP2 weeks agoIt seems he didn't use damaged in transit as the reason - and has been vitriolic since

·2 weeks agoUnfortunately that makes you responsible for the refund.

·2 weeks agoThe best way is to contact Ebay customer services and speak to them on the phone. Use the help and contact at the top of the page and keep putting in 'agent' in the chat box.
Make sure that you tell them that it is a GSP parcel and they should close the case.
You might have issues getting through to them today as there are quite a lot of tech problems so they are not taking all calls. Try for a call back tomorrow morning.
