Pitney Bowles ''Package not received by Hub or First Mile Carrier yet''
Summary: guilliman_and_sons is seeking assistance with contacting eBay's customer service to locate a parcel lost at Pitney Bowes. They express frustration with eBay's current AI system and emphasize the significance of the lost item. cobwebcottage advises patience, suggesting checking courier tracking to the hub and mentions that updates can often be confusing and delayed. Despite concerns, guilliman_and_sons decides to wait and hope for a positive update on the package.
Good Afternoon,
I'm trying to find or contact Ebay's customer service to nudge Pitney to locate a parcel that somehow has been lost at Pitney Bowles.
I used to be able to but the link for contact us doesn't bring up the website to call anymore.
Whats happened to Ebay's customer support? It appears to be replaced by the dreaded ai bot which keeps looping me to the same pages.
Please could anyone help? I don't want this parcel to be lost to my buyer, appreciate its protected on both ends but its a rare item.
Thank you

·3 weeks agoIf it hasn't been received at the hub, then PB don't have it yet. Have you checked the courier tracking to the hub?
It also takes around 1 - 2 weeks before you will get a message from them to say they have it. The tracking is usually more up to date.
I've never had to contact PB and also never lost a parcel at the hub.
Hold tight for a while longer.

OP3 weeks agoThank you for your reply,
Yeah it appears it was definitely delivered by Royal Mail as they sent proof that they did (stage 1) then it went to stage 2 where it's at Pitney Bowles - Thank you it was delivered on the 31st July but the worrying update on the 4th August, as a seller I always keep my buyers updated so I'm just abit worried.
On the PB website it states ' Aug 4, 2026
7:17 AM Package not received by Hub or First Mile Carrier yet
On Ebay it states:
Delivery history
Hub to buyer (Step 2)
The tracking states
Fri 31 Jul
7:17am
Tracking details uploaded
Fri 31 Jul
12:17am
Tracking number provided
You to hub (Step 1)
Royal Mail : tracking number
Tue 4 Aug
5:24am
Delivered by
I'll hold tight, fingers crossed they update it in a positive way.

·3 weeks agoIt will be fine. They go overboard with these updates, 1st mile carrier, 2nd mile carrier. Just to confuse the buyer and seller I think.

·3 weeks agoI’ve found that the best route to contact eBay Customer Services is via the link below where you can call them or request a call back if you’re using the app (if you’re using desktop you’ll need to go round the houses with AI and start a chat then keep typing ‘agent’ until you get the option to live chat with a CS rep or to have a call back):
