CAN ANYONE HELP?
Hi I’m really new to selling but have just sold several games for my son, via the SIMPLE DELIVERY system and had ROYAL MAIL pick up the parcels as I’m housebound! These all seem to be going through ok however one of them despite being delivered having had contact with the buyer and recieved feedback the postage is “stuck” and hasn’t gone to delivered so it still looks like the buyer hasn’t received it even though he has. He had it delivered to a POST OFFICE which is on his street and was posted exactly normal to the others so I don’t know How to get this to delivered so my son can access his funds I’ve contacted the buyer to ask if he can check things out his end but received no response can anyone help

·2 days agoThe same thing happened to me! I pt used to be you could speak with eBay support and if the buyer had left feedback and or messaged confirming delivery they would release payment.. Apparently, this has now changed ! I spoke yesterday with a customer service lady and she informed me that they can’t release payment, despite the feedback and the buyer NOT ONLY MESSAGING ME HE HAD RECEIVED OVER 2 weeks ago but he also messaged eBay directly to confirm and help me out! Apparently , or so I was told,d, it would be a full MONTH until my money would be released to me! This despite me having over 1,000 postive feedbacks and a 100 percent rating… this amount is over £500 from this sale so I am livid… just another way for eBay to earn interest on all our money. They already have extended their hold for funds owed sellers by a week now, think of how much money they make off of banking interest on all, the sales worldwide just holding onto this money for even a day!

·3 weeks agoBuyers can't mark as delivered so there's nothing your buyer can do. When tracking doesn't update payments are often held for 14 days. As a new account payment may be held for 30 days anyway. Either way you will get it in the end.

OP3 weeks agoHi I’ve had my account for several years and the other items sold have already been paid into the account it’s just this one. He had it delivered to a post office and told me he’s recieved
It and left feedback. Will I get the money even if the postage doesn’t change as I don’t know how to change
It myself and trying to get hold of eBay is like trying to plait fog ! - I’m just worried if it stays on awaiting collection eBay will cancel the sale and the money will be cancelled and returned to the buyer

·3 weeks ago · EditedThere's nothing you can do and ebay won't help but you should get the money in 14 days. Tracking often doesn't update so they hold the money for a while and then release it. As you're new to selling it may be held a bit longer.

·3 weeks ago · EditedIf the buyer selected his local Post Office as his collection point and tracking is showing delivery there then your job is done. You'll still get paid but as a new seller your payments may be held for a while. There's a button that you can use on this eBay guidance page to check the status of any held payment:
