Oral b toothbrush - faulty
I purchased an Oral B io 10 toothbrush December last year for a Xmas present. It does not operate correctly, I鈥檝e reset it a few times. It doesn鈥檛 do the full timed brush. I have asked the seller what I can do about this as it should still be under warranty. They have not got back to me and wonder it they have actually ceased trading as I can鈥檛 see any items to be sold on his account. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you.

路3 days agoYou need to get Citizens' Advice to guide you through this. Consumer law clearly protects your right to have a working utensil but electrical devices are very prone to damage in mishandling. Also, the Christmas gift angle might complicate things as who used it and who paid for it? I purchased a very expensive electric toothbrush when it first came out decades ago: a waste of money and it created its own inconveniences. By the way, I'm very pleased with my new unpowered Colgate toothbrush which has a sophisticated redesign and seems to work very well and is 拢1.49- for three!

路3 days agoIf you have had the item for almost a year and then approached me for a refund, then I would not have got back to you either! You are way out of time for ebay's returns policies. Your warranty is with the manufacturer, NOT the seller.

OP3 days agoI was NOT asking for a refund, I was asking about the warranty and how it works, as I brought it brand new and didn鈥檛 know if the warranty was with the Company I brought it from. Do not jump to conclusions !!

路3 days agoThen if that is the case you should have given more information in your post. We are here to help you, and I think that you were given the correct information as regards your warranty.......I am not sure why you are getting angry?

Warranties for items sold on ebay are pretty much worthless.
