Offers incorrectly auto-declined by ebay
There appear to be a lot of technical issues with ebay at the moment.
A buyer made an offer on my item but it auto-declined when it should've auto-accepted. I set the minimum offer of £18.99. The buyer offered £19.99 but it auto-declined. She then offered £20 but again it was auto-declined. She has now given up it seems, so I've lost a buyer. Thanks ebay.

·1 month agoOffers from buyers include the buyer protection fee so both offers would under your reserve amount.

OP1 month agoYes I know. I found out from another thread. Its not made clear that this is the case when you list an item. I assumed, as I sure many sellers do, that the price offered includes the BF, in the same way the listing price does. Confusing for buyers. They have to work out how much the BF would be on an offer. Should be pointed out to them when they make an offer and to sellers when listing.

·1 month agoBuyers have no idea what you have set to auto accept, but they are likely to offer round amounts so sellers should set the minimum accordingly.

·1 month agoYour minimum would have excluded the buyer protection fee, so the buyer's offer needs to be at least whatever £18.99 plus the buyer protection fee is in order to be auto accepted. That will be more than £20.
