Non-Payers... whats the point to your action.
Non Payers. I think we all agree, there is nothing more annoying than a non-payer. I seem to be getting a lot of this at the moment. It's more annoying when they raise their bids a few minutes or seconds before the end of the auction. Then you don't hear anything again and no payment. I have to wait around 4 days to cancel. Then block the non payer. Does ebay still do the 3 strikes and you are out rule ???? Thanks for your answers !

·1 week agoIf someone has the same or similar item to yours ending after yours and yours has a lot of watchers I suppose they could raise the bids on your item, not pay so your item is out of the way for a few days and bidders who didnt get your item will bid on there item.

·1 week agoThe last second bids were more than likely placed using a "sniping" service or app. The buyer was probably not around when the bid was actually placed. This sort of bid does seem to result in more non-payers - perhaps they already bought the item, and "forgot" about the snipe? That doesn't really help you, but follow the advice given elsewhere, and always cancel as "Buyer hasn't paid", to make sure they get a strike. Don't be tempted to try and cancel earlier using a different reason, as they won't get a strike, and it is still possible that they intend to pay before the four day period is over. Also, if you haven't already, add the buyer to your blocked bidder list, so they won't cause you any more problems in the future.

·1 week ago · EditedYes, buyers still receive a strike if a seller cancels the sale using 'Buyer hasn't paid' and sellers can block buyers who have received more than 2 strikes within the last 12 months. Cancelling using 'Buyer hasn't paid' also prevents buyers from leaving negative feedback.
This feature would work really well if all sellers cancelled unpaid sales correctly but, unfortunately, many sellers still persist in leaving negative comments in feedback (false positives) instead which really achieves nothing.
