"No extra charge: Changing your package size won’t cost you anything."
Summary: zedcjay discusses the limitations of using Simple Delivery, noting that while it speeds up the process, it lacks flexibility, especially for letter-sized items. They express concern about who covers the cost difference if a package size increase is needed, as decreasing isn't an option. zedcjay hopes for more size and weight options in the future to improve the service's usability.
I've seen this come up whenever I use Simple Delivery. If I need to increase (doesn't seem possible to decrease) the package size, would the buyer be charged the extra? Who covers the cost difference?
Separate thoughts whilst I'm here:
I find simple delivery very restrictive, especially for letter sized items or items where you would normally get more size/weight options. But overall it does make the process faster and easier. Just hope they provide the full range of options in future.

·1 month agoThe buyer is not charged extra. eBay seem to absorb any difference. It's probably part of their deal with the couriers. I think you can only change within certain parameters so there may be no extra cost anyway.
