Item sending not eligible for the label provided
I'm trying to sell a lithium battery. Ebay has generated a label but its royal mail and they won't take lithium batteries. I need to use UPS I think. But I can't either cancel the label or find the buyers address. What on earth do I do? Cancel the whole order?

·1 month agoI don't believe that UPS will take a lithium battery, you need a specialist courier such as MPC.
You can get a quote from them, but it won't be cheap. You may want to cancel that order.

·1 month agoContact CS for the buyer's address explaining it is not legible on the label issued, and that another carrier needs to be selected.
Contacting eBay Customer Services is not easy nowadays to get a live agent , but some have had success using the app, otherwise keep typing in ' I wish to speak to an agent' and this too can work.
Use this link to contact CS, if you can try at 8 a.m. on a weekday morning also more chance there for Dublin to answer.

For the unused Simple Delivery label, a refund is sent to whoever paid for the SD label:
If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days
If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.
