I AM NO LONGER GETTING NOTIFICATIONS WHEN I SELL. ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?
Summary: gallery.9 and several other participants are discussing issues with not receiving notifications for items sold on an online platform. Many express frustration, describing how they miss important alerts like emails or app notifications, which used to work reliably. Some participants, like mandrake_the_magician, mention contacting support, receiving an acknowledgment of the problem, and experiencing improvements after. bklisarski and others highlight how this issue impacts their ability to maintain prompt dispatch times. The discussion includes speculation about whether the problem might be related to changes in how the platform processes sales notifications.
Recently I have found that I am not getting notifications when an item sells. It's really frustrating.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks.

·Oct 14, 2026 at 10:49 PMAint that weird huh, seems like you all have 100% feedback, defects can raise your selling costs, if you don’t know something’s sold you may ship late.

·yesterday at 8:43 AMIt was fine before they brought in the wait before you post idea.
If something sells via SD then there's no notification except the mobile might dig (but that's hit and miss), yet if something sells via custom postage a notification pops up like normal..it's all very weird.
All you can do at the min is check in every now and again.

·yesterday at 8:59 AMDrive you back to logging on in the hopes you may see something you want to buy and get the visit rates up on ebay.

·2 days agoI have two accounts, one I access on Firefox and the other on Chrome. A different e-mail for each, and I always get notified when an item sells. What I no longer get is one to say buyer has paid.

·2 days agoMe neither and the first I knew was when the buyer messaged to see why I hadn't posted it! We should not have to check ebay every day to see if something has sold!!!!

·2 weeks agoAdd me to the list. It is beyond ridiculous at this point.
You used to have reminders everywhere so you couldn't possibly miss a sale - an instant email, the red notification bell icon, an "awaiting dispatch" banner right on the main page, and clear badges all over the selling hub.
Now? Complete radio silence. No email, no app push, no red notification badge, nothing on the homepage. The only way I even find out something has sold is by sheer luck when I happen to log in and hunt through my orders.
How on earth are we expected to maintain fast dispatch times and protect our seller standards when the platform literally hides sales from us? What have they done to the system? It's completely broken.

·3 weeks agoI sold something 45 minutes ago. No email or notification has come through so I only spotted it by chance. Everything was working fine up until yesterday and I haven’t changed any settings.

·3 weeks ago · EditedI recently had the same problem, no notifications on sales. I emailed ebay, they replied within a few hours and told me that they knew there was a problem. Said their technical people were working on it and was top priority to rectify.. amazingly, within the next 12 hours, I was receiving emails immediately on selling items. I suggest that you email ebay, I was sceptical but it worked for me.

·3 weeks agoSuffering this as well, do you have eBay installed on multiple devices by chance?
This started happening when I added the eBay app to my tablet as well as phone.

·3 weeks agoYes, all notifications set correctly (I never changed anything anyway). I'm now just checking daily.

·3 weeks agoOnly get a ding on the phone, but that can be hit and miss.
No emails, no notification bell, nothing. The only way I know if something has sold is by checking in to see if the number of listings have gone down.
It was fine before they started the 3 hour wait before getting a label.
