how bad has e bay become
theres only 28 members on s/c tonight used to be lots more
sellings totally few and far between wonder just how many buyers and sellers visit e bay now
the way it is just goes to show how many have left its like the marie celeste
cant understand why e bay dont try and turn it around

Or change their model to try getting revenue indirectly from payment processing (MP), delivery charges (SD), Buyer Protection (BPF) and earnings from Payment Holds on sellers' proceeds, rather that directly from FVF. ATM ebay seems to be relying on 'voluntary' fees from sellers for Promoting their listings to gain visibility.

·1 week agoI know it's a case of .....be careful what you wish for ..... but the only way it might turn around is if someone like Gamestop can buy it. Ryan Cohen seems determined to get hold of this gaff

·1 week agoebay was very content in their dominant position for years, they been jacking up their fees for years safe in the knowledge that there wasn't any competition around. Now newer cheaper competitors are muscling in on their turf, the execs aren't too thrilled about it and shareholders are still expecting to be paid. The sellers go where the money is and its not on here anymore.
Feels like they boxed themselves in to me, if they want to survive then they will need to become cheaper.
