Does the above apply to private sellers?
My account for purchasing is done via my credit card which I’ve just used to make a purchase through ebay and it worked fine no issue whatsoever.
Can someone out there correct, I’m assuming I need to register a card in order to get paid as a private seller.
In going through ebay’s online process they sent a code to my mobile phone to be filled in on their application page which I’ve done but the progress indicator just keeps spinning around.
Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong or is there a way I can speak to a human on ebay?

·1 month agoRegister for eBay's Managed Payments. All sellers need to do this to be able to list items for sale and to receive payouts from those sales:
You need to provide eBay with details of a bank account and have this account verified. The usual method here, is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that nominated bank account for you to receive, and confirm to eBay.
Once this is completed, you will be able to list items for sale, and receive payouts from those sales.

You need to read up about getting paid for sales, payments have to go into a nominated and verified bank account.

Thank you for your reply its much appreciated. I only sell a few things now and again and didn't want to end up not getting paid or at least having to then sort the payment out through Ebay especially when it appears to be a job in itself to speak or write to a humanoid.
