I can't be the only one frustrated at this.I'm a private seller, I sell things every now and then - but when I want to sell them it's for a reason, either I'm short of funds or wanting to raise some money towards something else. In these situations I often want to sell the items quickly. Years ago (on an old eBay account), whenever I used to create a listing it would go live instantly. Now, 99% of the time, I'm creating a listing and it's taking 24+ hours to appear in search results. When creating a listing, it lets sellers schedule a listing for the same or even following day, and much earlier than 24 hours, but will STILL not appear in search results. For example, I created a listing yesterday for it to go live at 10am today, but as usual nobody can search for it. Apparently this is down to "indexing" by eBay's systems/servers. I find this ridiculous in 2026. If it needs to index, then do it once an hour or something. Either that, or remove the option to schedule within 24 hours, or at least warn people on the listing creation page (not hidden away on some seller guide which takes ten pages to find). Anyone else find this frustrating?eBay - if you're reading this, sort it out.
