路3 weeks agoAnswered brilliantly in the previous replies. I was also unaware of this when I started. Printed a label on a Friday for a Monday dispatch. On the Monday, the impatient buyer was asking me where his parcel was, lol. Now, I only print the label the night before I send out, so the buyer doesn't think their purchase is in transit, when it is not.

路3 weeks agoEbay mark it as dispatched as soon as you buy postage through them,it's been that way for years.
Crazy as it is.
At buyers end,if sending tracked,it says "seller dispatching item".

OP3 weeks agoIf I were to do nothing what would happen given they have said dispatched. Of course I will post but just a thought馃馃馃

路3 weeks agoThe buyer would open an item not received case after the last EDD and you would have to issue a full refund.

路3 weeks agoIn a hypothetical scenario, the label will expire past a certain date and be unusable, you'll get a late delivery defect against your seller account and, as @tommystrezures mentions, your buyer would need to open an eBay item not received case to get their money back, they may possibly leave negative feedback having had to jump through hoops.
