They're still for sale all over the internet. I don't think the government's statement was clear enough. Although the headline news is that they are temporarily banned, the statement just said they should not be used or sold. What does should mean? If they're banned, the statement ought to say MUST not be used or sold. And what are the penalties for using or selling? No idea. If there aren't any penalties, irresponsible people are going to continue using or selling them. It needs to be a much tougher and clearer statement.
And what about fireworks? I've heard fireworks going off locally well after midnight in the last few days. Next week, someone in my local Whatsapp group has warned the neighbourhood that a family member is getting married and apologies in advance all week for the music and parking problems. Normally they would have fireworks as well so we shall see.

Although I went on another site a short while ago, whilst it appears they have weeded out a few there were odd ones still for sale
