Buyer's false claim
What should I do as a seller when buyer wants to return using false claims.
Buyer claims item doesn't match description, but they've only mentioned a small part of the parcel and hidden the main contents. it was a big box mediam parcel. The buyer is clearly misrepresenting the order.

OP1 month agoI have reported it to the ebay. I am not accepting the return as I feel very annoyed with the whole situation and feel if I accept i am allowing buyer to abuse me and make me and ebay fool.

·1 month agoIf you do nothing and a case for item not as described has been opened - sorry - you will find ebay will more than likely refund the customer out of your funds.

·1 month agoThey may be but eBay do not get to see the item, and do tend to side with the buyer in these cases.
Have they opened a case for item not as described? It's all automated so you do have to accept it and either refund or send a paid label for the return of your item in 3 days to avoid any defects for your account.
If eBay step in and refund, should the case be escalated, if you think the decision for the refund unfair, you can appeal, link below shows the process.
I'll admit it's not easy, eBay do not see the item in question and they do tend to side with a buyer's view, but worth a shot appealing.

·1 month agoNot a lot you can do as ebay don't see the item in question and will always side with the buyer if you do nothing.
You'll need to accept the return, pay for a label and provide a refund on return.
If you believe they are misusing the returns system - you can report them as well - but you'll still need to accept the return unfortunatel.
