Buyer paid for evri, code sent is for Royal Mail
I'm a bit baffled. A buyer bought an item and paid for evri postage. The code has been sent to me but it's for Royal Mail. The buyer has paid for the evri price as it is cheaper and the box size allowance is bigger. Why have I been sent a Royal Mail code which is no good for the parcel size and weight? Amyone got any advice? Anyone experienced this? Thanks for any help or replies.

OPSep 9, 2026 at 5:33 PMI have had a call back from cust support and they said they will send another label. Still waiting for it. It will be tomorrow before I can post it, so posting will be overdue. Thank you for your input fellow members.

If you are opted in to all carriers then the price for home delivery is the same regardless of the carrier chosen.
How big is the item? In what way is the label you have been provided with not suitable?

So the buyer has paid for the none specific 'Standard Tracked Delivery'. They can't choose between Evri or Royal Mail.
Have you only got select postage options selected? Even IF you do, ebay state that if it is not possible to ship to the buyer with your selected postage options - then they will supply an alternative label.
