Buyer not responding to messages
A buyer sent me a photo and letter by post showing that crockery had arrived broken. I have sent 3 messages explaining that all problems have to go through eBay. I have never received a reply, have tried to ask eBay what else I can do but only get a AI answer ‘contact buyer’. Can anyone help me, is there another way to solve this problem?

·4 days agoSend them a refund. If the crockery was packed correctly, it wouldn't have broken.

·4 days agoThe "danger" perhaps is that unless the buyer uses the eBay system they will run out of time and eBay WILL NOT then help them. They are then left with the situation that to get a refund they contact their payment provider. This - I believe - leaves you with a surcharge on what is paid

·4 days agoYes, there is always the risk of a payment dispute. Whether eBay passes the dispute fee onto the seller depends on how they respond to the payment dispute and the decision made by the buyer's payment provider.

·5 days agoDo nothing more just leave it to the buyer to open a return saying arrived damaged

·5 days agoThe ball is firmly in the buyers court here. If they open an eBay return and select "Arrived damaged" then eBay will issue them with a full refund.
If they don't, then they won't get their refund.

OP5 days agoThey appear to be a new eBay buyer and I am trying to help them get a refund. If they don’t reply soon the time limit will be up.
