Anyone else having a horrible time with the VeRO programme?
eBay said the new VeRO Portal would make reporting easier, but my experience has been the complete opposite.
Every week I find more sellers using my registered trademark. I submit the same report each time with the same trademark registration, the same explanation and the same type of evidence.
The result? It's completely pot luck.
Some reports are approved and the listings are removed. Others come back saying they "need more information" or that "the nature of the infringement isn't clear" even though they're materially identical reports.
If I submit a bulk report, maybe one or two listings get removed and the rest are rejected. I then have to appeal every single rejection individually using almost exactly the same wording before they're eventually reviewed again.
As a small business, I simply don't have the time to spend hours resubmitting reports while new infringements appear faster than I can deal with them.
Has anyone else experienced this? Have you found a way to get a proper manual review or consistent decisions from VeRO?
