Anomaly in listings - different info in Firefox vs Chrome
Summary: moonlight-rhapsody has noticed that their listings show different information about postage costs depending on the browser used. In Firefox, the listing shows that the buyer pays postage, while in Chrome it appears as free until adding to the basket. moonlight-rhapsody is concerned this discrepancy may deter buyers. str11p commented that they see the postage cost on Chrome using Windows 10 but did not provide a solution.
I’ve discovered that different information is showing on some of my listings, depending on whether you look in Firefox or Chrome.
For instance, the Watercolour Journal (#227401394847) correctly says that the buyer pays the postage in Firefox, but in Chrome it says the postage is Free. So I tried adding it to my basket in Chrome, and when I did that, the postage was added to the cost. This item has had quite a lot of views, and I’m wondering if it’s putting people off when they think it’s Free postage when they see the listing, only to have postage added when they get to the basket.
Does anyone know if this anomaly is a glitch, temporary or otherwise, and has anyone else had this experience? I'm viewing on a Mac laptop.
