AI rejects English county names as being rude. How dumb can you get?

today I tried to write an answer to a customer eBay message and my answer was stooped 3 times because of apparently using rude language.
The BAD WORD was Suffolk, I replaced this with Norfolk which was bad too and my third word was Essex which was also rejected. AI is stupid and ignorant about the counties and regions of the UK. I am glad that I was not talking about Folkstone or about selling a model aircraft built by a Dutch company. This ignorance seems to be the way of profit obsessed US companies. I like geography and my customers are hobbyists. On eBay since 2000 but hey what does loyalty matter. For anyone with some time on their hands they might like to try other villages, towns and counties. CN Collectables.

·3 weeks agoSomething's got to give with all this Ai carp. Yesterday on BBC breakfast there was a news article on how Vinted is banning people because of wrongly executed Ai decisions. No one from Vinted was available for comment on the matter.
On ebay, it's causing confusion with what's considered a bladed item and age verification.
It seems that when there are genuine dysfunctions on these sites...... broken searches, low traffic, Ai failings..... nobody ever comes out and tries to answer peoples concerns. There used to be some input from Ebay reps on these boards but since they've changed to this new format I've not seen anyone ?

Only asking because sometimes it can run the ending of one word into the beginning of another and come up with an offensive word, in which case it could be something else in the message.

OP3 weeks agoI used the county names as a name in a sentence. So all three were rejected. I think Sussex and Middlesex would get the same treatment.

·3 weeks agoI suspect and I could be wrong that AI being a bit zealous at times thought you were trying to conduct an offsite sale on eBay. Some of eBays communication can be rather vague.

OP3 weeks agoThe message was about using a rude word as part of a chatty sentence to an existing customer. I know what you mean. I happen to be travelling to Suffolk border with Norfolk and the customer lived in Essex. After the first rejection I tried the alternatives and eventually got accepted using something general like travelling east. After 25 years on eBay this was beyond the pale.
