Account Temporarily Restricted After My First Listings – Please Advise

Hi everyone,
I’m a new eBay seller and I received the following notification from eBay saying that my account has been temporarily restricted from both buying and selling due to concerns about my seller account.
The email says that I need to contact eBay within 30 days to answer some questions and verify my account. It also says that my listings have been moved to my Unsold folder and that the associated fees have been credited back.
eBay removed these two listings:
318800128953 – Nintendo Switch Game Card Holder 12 Slot Case Cartridge Storage Box
318800197182 – Packing Cubes for Suitcase 6 Colours Travel Organiser Set, 6 Pieces Lightweight
Before creating my first listing, I had already contacted eBay Customer Support because my payout information was still being verified. eBay had sent two microdeposits, but I had not received them yet.
I specifically asked an eBay agent about this before listing. I was told that the microdeposits were expected to arrive on September 3rd and that I could start listing in the meantime. I followed that advice and created my listings.
Shortly afterward, I received this restriction notification.
I’m a genuine new seller and I want to follow all eBay policies correctly. I’m fully willing to complete any identity, payout, or account verification and provide any documents or proof of purchase that eBay may require.
Has anyone experienced a similar temporary restriction after creating their first listings?
Do you think this could be related to the pending payout verification/microdeposits, or could there be another reason?
I would really appreciate advice from experienced eBay sellers on what I should expect when I contact eBay and how best to resolve this.

Hi @linda6263 , thanks for your post.
I understand this is not ideal, but your bank details or even ID verification wouldn't be related to this, that's a process all sellers have to go through at some stage.
At this point the reason is not relevant, and you'd need to follow the instructions given on the email we send you. Once you do that, an agent will review your account again and will give you an outcome. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with restrictions or suspensions over this channel, so you'd need to contact our customer service team as request over the email we sent you.

·5 days agoYou only set the account up a couple of days ago and it usually takes a few to get you set up properly.
Read the managed payment guides in the help pages and make sure your account complies with all they state. Sometimes eBays communication is poorly worded and this may be the issue that the bank account and debit card from a main UK bank haven't not been verified correctly yet. Obviously your bank account hasn't been verified correctly if you haven't had the micro deposits.
