Ebay has now added a signature requirement for some items sent with Simple Delivery. No details yet but will presumably be added automatically to higher value items, hence the price increase for items over £75.

·1 week agoThink this is the case. Only grey area is ebay also state the following items should be prohibited from Simple Delivery
Currency, including cash, gift vouchers, cashiers or travellers cheques, negotiable instruments in bearer form, and bullion
Valuables, such as jewellery, watches, and precious metals, including, but not limited to, jewels, watches, gems, precious metals, real pearls, silver, gold
Though how ebay work this if they don't allow Custom Delivery on a listing that is, for example a Gold Bullion Coin I'm not sure.

·1 week agoYes, coins are on the prohibited list but eBay have also stated that if an item is accepted for Simple Delivery when listing that it will be covered.
