IF its a book like a lot of your listings appear to be, then tracked service with Royal Mail will probably be best. Basic cover on items is upto £50 if you want more insurance then its a further £3.10 up to £250.
Singapore postal service is pretty reliable, ensure you mark the GST code to front of paperwork
How big is the parcel and what does it way, shipping the Singapore isnt a problem there postal and courier systems work very well but there can be problems when sending more expensive items.
