hi, i sold an item and the buyer chose inpost locker for delivery, i purchased the postage and received a barcode then i went to my local locker but the machine couldn't recognise the barcode so i typed the 9 digit code in manually but still no recognition. i then tried a different set of lockers 2 mile away but still no barcode recognised. i rang the inpost helpline but they said the 9 digit code is not an inpost code. i then tried to cancel that postage and purchase a different postage barcode by buying another label through ebay (of course i got charged £5.21 again) but the same format of the original barcode appeared again - (inpost helpline said that their labels should start with gb......). so now i am trying to figure out what the problem is but not getting any help off ebay.

·2 weeks agoThe drill was listed with Custom Postage ('Inpost Store to Door' formerly Yodel) not Simple Delivery. As the name suggests it has to be dropped off at a store rather than a locker. Inpost with Simple Delivery, on the other hand, is delivery to locker so can be dropped off at either a locker or store.
Admittedly, it is a little confusing at present but hopefully now that the Yodel and Inpost services have been merged the option to drop Custom Postage items at a locker wil be added to the options provided by Packlink at some point.

·2 weeks agoIt will be InPost Store to Door or ‘InPost Shops’. You just need to find a shop that accepts InPost parcels and it will be fine. The label you have isn’t compatible with their lockers.
