can I no longer by pass eBays simple delivery? Most of the items I sell are very small and light and fit into a large letter at 1.55 .m. Now it looks like I will have to send for 2.92? Nuts

·2 weeks agoi was just looking around for the same issue , no option to see the address or mark it as shipped . payment for a label was already taken . 2 £ item sold that normally goes as a letter and happy to make a pound , now down - 92 pence as it is forces as a parcel with evri ... guess ill take down all the small items

·2 weeks ago · EditedIf you are using Simple Delivery with buyer pays, it is the buyer that has decided the charge is reasonable, and who pays for the label. If you buy postage, it is the buyer that gets the refund.

Ebay don't care. They expect you to learn a dance you aren't told the rules of, that changes all the time, that makes no sense.
Consider your business options.

·2 weeks agoEven if there were hundreds of sellers complaining (many of whom should have business accounts and so not use it), there are millions that use it and don't complain on here. Many say they prefer it for the seller protection it gives.

·2 weeks agoGo into sellerhub to create new listing ( not app) on postage click on custom postage ( or similar can’t remember exactly) then choose your own preference from you already listed ones . May sure postage is large letter not small parcel
Then you can use this in app as sell similar

·2 weeks agoCustom Postage is still available for Letter/Large Letter sized items under £20 but it is only available in certain sub-categories.

·2 weeks agoYou can list with free postage, factor that cost into your item price and buy your own postage outside of eBay. There would still be a SD label but you can claim a refund for it. You can't change the tracking but you would be able to add the new number to a "not received" case if necessary. Payment may be held for 14 days.
