Refund rejected on unused Royal Mail label
I sold an item, bought a Royal Mail label but in the end I did not use the label as I hand delivered the sold item to the buyer (as I discovered they lived in the same town as me!)
Submitted a request for a refund on 5th July but its been rejected. How come?

OP2 weeks agoSold the item on 5th July, raised label refund/cancelled label request same day

·2 weeks agoYou sold 3 items on the 5th July, 2 with Simple Delivery Buyer Pays and 1 with Royal Mail Custom Postage. If it was either of the Simple Delivery items then the buyer would be refunded for the unused label. If it was the Custom Postage one then did you cancel the label correctly as the process is different to when using Simple Delivery?

How to cancel a postage label
Labels purchased on the eBay labels platform need to be used within 14 calendar days. If unused, make sure to void the label within 14 calendar days to get a refund.
Here's how to void a postage label in My eBay or Seller Hub:
Select Selling in My eBay, or select Orders on the Seller Hub Overview page.
Select Postage Labels on the left-hand side.
Select Actions next to the label you'd like to void, and select Void Label.
