Really bad collection booking UI
Abysmal, dire collection booking on eBay.
So I book a collection. After booking, there's no confirmation and when I return to that section of the site or on the app; I still see the button telling me to book a collection.

·2 weeks agoIt isn't very intuitive but once you have selected and confirmed the date for collection you still need to click/tap the blue 'Get label' button to actually generate the label and complete the process. You should then get an email confirming the collection.

I've gone back and looked at it again. As you say, that get label button needs to be pressed to complete.
Here's the thing, I know I'm not dumb.. I design electronics and code microcontrollers. I designed a synthesiser that converts pulsed lightwaves to music.
I repair TV recorders, computers and other things. I've designed UI for various microcontrollers. The eBay UI is bad. It's very bad. I get that uncle Henry is family but why not hire real web coders and pay uncle Henry to do something else within the company?
The collection booking isn't the only area that's really badly designed. Overall navigation is really poor. It's unintuitive and stuff you need to reach quickly is hidden in sub menus at the bottom of the list. It's really bad.
