Problems with posting abroad.
Summary: thisandthatgb experienced an issue with a buyer in Australia being unable to complete a transaction due to a message saying they don't post to Australia. This seemed incorrect as they regularly ship there. c_of_e84 and sml192 discussed changes from eBay's Global Shipping Program (GSP) to the new EIS. marco@ebay, identified as Marco, suggested possible restrictions due to GSP and offered to check the item number. thisandthatgb provided the item ID, and Marco confirmed the issue was resolved, and the buyer successfully completed the payment.
I've just sold a piece of Lladro to a buyer in Australia.
He's getting a message that says I don't post to Australia, so he can't complete the transaction (I've seen the screen shot).
This is nonsense as I post to Australia on a regular basis, and the last piece only went a couple of weeks ago.
I've checked my settings, and that's all in order (i.e. Australia is not blocked).
Anyone else had this problems or any suggestions to rectify it please?

Hi @thisandthatgb , thanks for your post.
This might not be related to your location and/or the buyer's location, the GSP program has a couple of restrictions for items. For example, if you list items in certain categories, or the item is included in the prohibited items list, the transaction will be blocked since the item in question cannot be shipped with GSP.

The message the buyer is getting says the seller (me) does not post to Australia, which I do on a regular basis and have done very recently.

I was checking there for you, and I can see the buyer was able to pay for this item already, and I can see it went through GSP no problem.
Looks like whatever was preventing their payment was resolved between yesterday and today.

·1 week agoDidn’t think GSP still existed they said it has changed to EIS now and is better and covers more countries and theres nothing to worry about.

It's changing this month in the UK, but at the moment it's still GSP.
