Postage cost
Postage any hep help on this I payed £13 postage and there post office says there is a extra £10 to pay which is way to much too much how can I solve this seller says will go half’s but I not paying any more takes the bargain out of buy how can we sort this out if the buyer has payed £13 that is more than enough but

£10.00 is an odd amount if its been caught by royal mail revenue protection, its usually a fine plus the postage, not may postage brackets are in whole decimal pounds.

·2 weeks agoIs the seller asking you to pay more in order to send the item or have you received a card from Royal Mail asking you to pay a surcharge?
If the seller is asking you to oay more then that isn't allowed. If they are not prepared to send for the amount you paid then you can ask them to cancel the sale. It they refuse then open an 'Item not received' claim once the last estimated date for delivery has passed.
If you have received a card asking you to pay a surcharge and the seller isn't prepared to cover the cost then again you will need to open an 'Item not received' claim.

You've got a couple of options really (I believe)
Pay the additional to get your item
Don't pay it and then open an item not received claim with ebay

·1 week agoI think that is the solution. It lets the buyer really decide how much they want the item and the seller, who might have made a mistake in calculating postage, gets to decide whether they prefer to have the item back or not. I lost nearly forty quid recently when an International packet was a centimetre too large for Medium. I just paid up and "moved on" as there was still a small profit. I'll estimate higher in future.
