Payements on hold for a month
Hi Peeps
I am facing an issue , the account has been transferred on my name , I have perfectly got my first payment, now the tje order of the customer has been delivered but my payement was due after 2 days of delivery, now it has been extended upto a month , which is quite bad for private sellers where we are totally relying on our funds to buy new stock.
Kindly guide me how to make it again the delivery of funds after 2 days of delivery ?

·3 weeks agoTo help facilitate faster payments, ass others have advised you need to change your Private account ( this is for selling used unwanted items such as a garage, wardrobe, attic clear out), to a Business account the one you need to sell new items from the stock you are purchasing.
Go to Account settings in My eBay.
Select Personal information.
Select Edit next to Account type. You may be asked to sign in again.
Select Confirm to upgrade to a Business account.
Specify whether you operate your business as a legal entity or as a sole proprietor and select Continue.
On the following page, enter your business information such as name, contact information, and returns policy. Then select Save.
Probably best to use a PC / laptop for this, and not the app or mobile browser. Chrome seems to work best on eBay.

OP3 weeks agoI understand what you are saying but stock does not necessarily means the buisness related items.
It can be my related to my own needs.
My mother has tried to sell her jewellery but it was too much for her to handle ,but she did fo me to take it over, onve I am 18, which I did.I am trying to turn this thing into buisness, but so many complications , so I have seen within a year to register the buisness anyone is trying to eastablish.I
f things like these happen like payements on hold for upto 30 days. That won't let me turn that venture into buisness for sure.
The transfer of ownership is totally okay , ebay customer service has provided that info to me.

·3 weeks ago · EditedI think you have been given incorrect information by ebay customer services as they have gone against their own published policy. At some point this account could be permanently restricted and funds held for months.
I strongly suggest you close this account and open a business one in your own name.

That in and of itself is a trading activity. Undoubtedly.
There are other things wrong with your profile. Your listings generally state No Returns - however the description states "OTHER JEWELLERY PIECES CAN BE RETURNED WITHIN 3 DAYS .AFTER 3DAYS THERE WILL 20% RESTOCKING FEE."
Restocking fees are illegal in the UK. You are only 18 - so clearly you have a lot to take in and learn - people here are trying to offer you accurate advice. Take it.
I would highly suggest you stop selling full stop. Do your research then come back correctly registered and trading correctly.

·3 weeks agoPrivate Sellers don't need to buy stock. A Private Seller account is only for selling unwanted personal possessions. If you are buying or making items to sell for a profit thrn you need to register as a Business Seller.
What do you mean by 'the account has been transferred on my name'? Accounts aren't transferable.
