Item destroyed during delivery
Hi, i shipped an item via a Pre-paid label with Evri which in their own works was destroyed during delivery. I refunded the buyer and contact Evri, they have finally come back to me and said i need to raise this with eBay as the label was purchased through them. Is this the case? How do i get a refund on this from eBay?

If you confirm the item number, I can take a look for you no problem to see what are the best options available for you right now. However, if the item was sent with Simple Delivery and the buyer filed a return under the reason damaged in transit, then we would cover that.
If it was sent without Simple Delivery, but you still purchased the label through eBay, you can claim with Packlink from here.

·1 month ago · EditedThe last 2 items that you sold were listed with Custom Postage not Simple Delivery, so eBay won't have refunded the buyer themselves. If you bought the Evri label on eBay then that was through Packlink who are a postage broker and you will need to submit a claim with them here.

·1 month agoIf the buyer opened a return using the reason "Damaged in transit" ebay will have issued the refund themselves and you keep the payment. Item does not have to be sent back. Now you've refunded upfront ebay won't help. Hope it wasn't too much and at least you'll know if it happens again. Same thing for items lost in transit.
