In correct postal service selected on listing so paid and arranged my own
Listed my amplifier on eBay and received and accepted an offer. Unfortunately the parcel was too large for the postal service (Royal Mail) selected. I tried to change it on eBay listing but unable to for some reason. So I arranged and paid for my Parcel Force 48hr signed for service. Will this effect the dispatch, delivery process eBay use which appear to be based on the original and now unused service selected.

·1 month agoYou can't change the tracking so the payment may be held for 14 days.

OP1 month ago · EditedAm I reliant on the honesty of the buyer to say they received it as it's already been collected from me by Parcel Force. I will have proof of delivery and a signature from Parcel Force once delivered.

·1 month agoEven though you can't change tracking you would be able to add the new number to an "Item not received" case if one was opened.

OP1 month agoOk thank you for your help. Bit of a nuisance and far, but my mistake of not double checking the sizes. Ebay are almost impossible to contact unless you want to chat to an AI bot which doesn't act very I.
